Visit Superbuy ↗About Superbuy
Superbuy was founded in 2012 and pioneered the reverse cross-border shopping model, acting as a one-stop Chinese purchasing agency and international shipping platform for buyers outside China. Customers submit links from Taobao, Tmall, 1688, Weidian and similar domestic marketplaces; Superbuy buys the item, receives it at its warehouse, inspects it and stores it, then ships consolidated parcels worldwide. The core of the service is a lifetime waiver of basic purchasing-agent fees, free in-house quality inspection on arrival, three free QC photos (with three more for Weidian), and 90 days of free storage. Buyers can combine multiple orders into one parcel and add reinforced packaging to reduce international shipping cost. Superbuy publishes transparent pricing across a large number of routes serving more than 200 countries and regions, offers bilingual customer service, accepts multi-currency payments, and covers the full chain from procurement and inspection to warehousing and global delivery. The platform also maintains a spreadsheet-style product search tool that lets buyers browse and filter domestic product listings in bulk before importing links for purchase.

What to check
Payment method fees differ sharply — bank transfer and Wise-style transfers are cheapest, while credit card and Apple Pay top-ups ran around +3.94% when we last checked (September 2026).
Free storage runs 90 days from check-in. Items left past the 180-day maximum are treated as abandoned, and extensions cost money (about $1.61 per item per month).
Paid extras are irreversible: choose removing shoe boxes, removing tags or power-on testing only if you are sure, because those items can no longer be returned or exchanged.
Second-hand and used-platform orders carry a separate service fee (around 20 CNY per order), no returns or exchanges, and the seller-side risk sits with the buyer.
International shipping is quoted as a deposit against estimated weight; the difference is refunded to your account after the final weight is confirmed, so the first charge is not the final cost.
Restricted goods (counterfeits, large quantities of powder or liquid, certain electronics, food and drugs) can be seized by customs, and sensitive items such as liquids or glues may be pulled from your parcel.
Membership discounts and points promotions change over time and by tier; treat any advertised shipping discount as conditional rather than guaranteed.
How Superbuy fits into a China haul
Superbuy is a buying and forwarding agent, not a shop. You point it at listings on Chinese marketplaces, it purchases on your behalf, receives the goods at its own warehouse, inspects them and then forwards them internationally under your instructions. That means two separate payments — one for the goods and domestic delivery, one for international shipping — and two points where you should read the numbers rather than trusting a single headline rate. It is best suited to buyers who want a long-established operator, a permanent break on agent fees and a large choice of shipping routes, and who are willing to manage timing, weight and packaging decisions themselves.
Is Superbuy legit?
Superbuy is a real, operating service rather than a clone site. It launched in 2012 and operates steadily, reporting steady traffic in the millions of monthly visits, which places it among the larger agents in the market. We ordered through it as part of our testing and found the flow — order, inspect, store, consolidate, ship — matches what the platform advertises. Longevity is not a guarantee of any individual parcel arriving safely, and third-party marketplace purchases always carry seller-side risk, but there is no indication that the platform itself is fraudulent.
Where Superbuy is used most
Traffic data indicates Superbuy's largest audiences are in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and France, with broader use across Europe and Asia. That distribution shows up in its payment list, which goes well beyond the usual cards and transfers to include regional methods such as Kakao Pay, GCash, PromptPay, PIX, iDEAL, Bancontact, BLIK, PayNow, Touch 'n Go eWallet, Mercado Pago and GrabPay — handy if your local wallet is the cheapest way for you to move money.
Payment methods and what they cost
Superbuy accepts an unusually wide range of funding options: cards, Apple Pay, Wise, bank transfers, Alipay, WeChat Pay, UnionPay and Bitcoin, plus a long list of local wallets and bank-transfer schemes. The costs are not uniform, and the differences are large enough to change your effective order price. Wise-style bank transfers were the cheapest channel we saw, effectively beating the base exchange rate, while credit card and Apple Pay top-ups carried a surcharge of roughly 3.94%. Alipay and WeChat top-ups are fee-free for users but can take 1–60 minutes to credit. Wallet fees vary from around 0.5% to 3.8% depending on the provider, and several providers also pass on their own currency-conversion charge. Figures reflect what we recorded in September 2026 and are subject to change — check the current schedule before a large top-up.
Inspection, storage and value-added services
Free appearance inspection covers style, colour, size and model, with three free QC photos and three additional photos for Weidian orders. Storage is free for 90 days from check-in; extensions cost money and the hard limit is 180 days, after which items are considered abandoned. Optional services are priced individually, and they split into two families. Item-level options include detailed inspection, detailed photography, product video, live model try-on photos, cord trimming, tag removal, ironing, plastic sealing and electronics power-on testing. Parcel-level options include priority shipping, moisture-proof bags, stretch film, EPE foam filler, corner protectors, vacuum compression bags, foldable shoe boxes and wooden crate reinforcement. The important caution is the trade-off: removing shoe boxes or tags, or requesting power-on testing, ends any possibility of return or exchange, so treat those choices as final.
Limits, restrictions and timing
Some categories cannot be shipped safely or legally through standard routes. Counterfeits, large quantities of powder or liquid, certain electrical goods, food and drugs are restricted by customs policy, and a seized parcel is the buyer's loss rather than Superbuy's responsibility. Sensitive items such as oils, solutions, lubricants and glues may be pulled from a parcel so the rest can travel. Fragile or awkwardly shaped goods can be damaged in transit even with careful packing. On timing, Chinese public holidays — including Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day — slow or suspend parts of the logistics network, so submit parcels early during those windows. Second-hand platform orders add their own rules: a separate per-order service fee, no returns or exchanges, and a real chance the seller delays, refuses to ship or changes the price.
How to use Superbuy
Step 1 — Find your items and submit the order
Locate the product link, either by browsing the Superbuy spreadsheet-style search tool with keyword, category and price filters, or by copying links straight from Taobao, Tmall, 1688, Weidian or Xianyu. Paste the links into the agent order form. Confirm the correct warehouse — Guangdong for mainland China goods, Hong Kong for Hong Kong and other regions — because goods sent to different warehouses must be submitted for delivery separately. Third-party platform items may attract additional service fees or prove unavailable after staff verification.
Step 2 — Pay for the goods and domestic delivery
Your first payment covers the product price plus domestic delivery to the Superbuy warehouse. Choose a top-up method deliberately: bank transfer and Wise-style transfers were the cheapest we saw, while credit card and Apple Pay carried a surcharge of roughly 3.94% as of September 2026, and local wallets such as Kakao Pay, GCash, PayID, PIX or iDEAL each carry their own fee. Converting currency adds another variable, so watch the rate rather than assuming a flat fee.
Step 3 — Inspection, storage and optional extras
After the seller delivers, Superbuy receives the item, carries out free appearance inspection and posts three free QC photos (three more for Weidian) covering style, colour, size and model. Storage is free for 90 days from check-in and can be extended roughly monthly for a fee up to a 180-day maximum; anything beyond that is treated as abandoned. Paid extras include detailed inspection, product video, power-on testing, try-on photos, tag and box removal, ironing and reinforced packaging — but once you strip boxes or tags or request power-on testing, the item can no longer be returned or exchanged.
Step 4 — Consolidate and ship internationally
Select the warehouse items you want shipped, combine them into a single parcel and compare routes before confirming. Shipping is prepaid against estimated weight and any overpayment is refunded to your account after the final weight is confirmed. Because cost tracks volume as well as weight, adding small light items rarely raises your bill, while bulky packaging does. If you want maximum protection, ask about reinforcement options; if you want maximum savings, ask about shoe-box removal or vacuum compression.
Shopping-agent guide
Superbuy works as a two-stage service: you pay for the goods and domestic delivery first, then pay again for international shipping once your items sit in the warehouse and you decide what to send. Understanding that split is the single most useful thing before your first order. Start by finding what you want. You can paste product links directly into a Superbuy agent order — including links from Taobao, Tmall, 1688, Weidian, Xianyu and, through the DIY order form, other Chinese platforms. The spreadsheet-style product search tool is handy for browsing in bulk: enter a keyword, filter by category and price, compare listings side by side, then copy the links you want into a purchase order. Note that China-mainland goods route through the Guangdong warehouse and Hong Kong or other regional goods through the Hong Kong warehouse; items split across warehouses must be shipped separately, and third-party platform purchases can carry extra service fees or turn out to be unavailable once staff verify them. Used-item orders are charged a separate service fee (around 20 CNY per order) and cannot be returned. Once items arrive, Superbuy inspects them and uploads free QC photos — three by default, plus three more for Weidian — so you can judge style, colour, size and model without holding the goods. Our testing team treats these photos as the decision point for the whole order: if something looks wrong, raise it with support before the free 90-day storage window closes. Paid extras such as detailed inspection, QC video, power-on testing, tag removal and try-on photos are available, but choosing box removal, tag removal or power-on testing forfeits return and exchange rights, so spend the time to be sure first. When you are ready, consolidate your warehouse items into one parcel and compare routes rather than defaulting to the first option. Shipping is prepaid against estimated weight, and any overpayment is refunded to your Superbuy balance once the final weight is known. Because charges follow both weight and volume, small light add-ons such as socks, underwear or phone cases usually ride along at little extra cost, while bulky packaging does the opposite — which is where reinforcement choices and shoe-box removal become a real trade-off, not just a fee. Keep an eye on payment method costs too: card top-ups ran several percent above bank-transfer pricing at our last check in September 2026, and that spread can outweigh a shipping discount. Finally, plan around Chinese public holidays such as Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day, when several international routes slow down or pause even though the warehouse keeps operating.
Frequently asked
Does Superbuy charge a purchasing service fee?
No. Basic purchasing-agent fees are waived for life on registered accounts, which is its main draw. Expect separate charges for international shipping, optional item and parcel extras, extended storage, some third-party platform purchases and used-item orders, which carried around 20 CNY per order.
How long can items sit in the Superbuy warehouse?
Storage is free for 90 days from check-in, which is generous compared with most agents and lets you build a haul before shipping. Extensions are available for roughly $1.61 per item per month, but nothing can stay past 180 days — beyond that it is treated as abandoned.
What happens if my parcel is seized by customs?
Restricted goods — including counterfeits, large amounts of powder or liquid, certain electrical products, food and drugs — fall outside Superbuy's responsibility. If customs confiscates a parcel, clearance and any legal consequences are on the buyer, so check the restricted list for your destination before consolidating.
