Editorial policy
KakobuyTikTok covers fashion, shoes, hats, bags, electronics and everyday goods from China through product listings and guides for overseas shoppers.
What we publish
We publish reviews, comparison tables, pricing notes and buyer guides for TikTok growth services, Shop tools and creator gear. Every featured product in a review was ordered by our testing team at the public retail price and handled at our Austin desk.
How products are chosen
Reader requests, ranked by how often the same vendor is named
Vendors advertising in creator communities, verified against their public listings
Price bands we can buy twice, so a second unit exists for a retest
Refund and dispute terms that are readable before purchase
We skip vendors who cannot state a delivery window, an itemised price or a written refund rule.
Scoring
Scores use a five-point scale written as X / 5, where 5 is excellent and 1 is very poor. Scores reflect measured delivery time, retention at 7, 30 and 90 days, setup effort, support response time and price against three named alternatives.
What we do not do
We do not sell placements, sponsored scores or review slots
We do not take free service credits, hardware samples or paid trips
We do not let a vendor review an article before publication
We do not edit a score for a commercial reason
Byline rule
Each article carries the name of the editor who ran the test, the date the product was ordered and the date the score was set. Drafts without those three items do not publish.
Ratings use the full five-point scale: 5 excellent, 4 good, 3 adequate, 2 poor and 1 very poor. Explain the criteria and relevant measurements; use an unscored guide when essential evidence is unavailable.
