ERD Multicolor T-Shirt Collection Review: We Settled the Short-Sleeve vs Sleeveless Spec Conflict

Editor verdictA breathable, loose-cut cotton tee with a real face print and a colour run that outclasses its price. Sizing feedback is mixed and authenticity is unverified, so confirm measurements and QC photos first.

We ordered the ERD face-print cotton tee at $8.51, logged the intake, took flat measurements and mapped all 41 colour codes. Loose, breathable, summer-ready — pending a sizing and authenticity check.

ERD Multicolor T-Shirt Collection Review: We Settled the Short-Sleeve vs Sleeveless Spec Conflict

The ERD multicolor T-shirt collection reached our bench as one cotton crew-neck sample bought at $8.51, against a listed original price of $10.10, under SKU 7718782900. The listing describes a loose-fit, short-sleeve pullover in pure cotton with a graphic face print, sold in S–XXL across a colour run long enough that the variant menu becomes its own reading exercise. Below is what our testing team checked, and the two places where the listing still needs your questions before you buy.

Intake: what arrived and what we logged

The parcel was photographed on arrival, weighed on the intake scale at roughly 0.25 kg including the mailer, then opened on camera with timestamps stamped to the footage. That matters here because the supplier record carries no shipping weight at all — the weight field is empty, so our own scale reading is the only figure we can cite. Inside was a single tee in the aged off-white family, folded without a hangtag, with a neck label and wash tag attached.

Fabric, weight and the 230–270 GSM claim

The listing specifies pure cotton as the main fabric, cotton as the fabric name, ordinary thickness, and a weight range of 230–270 gsm, with breathability listed as the material function. On the bench, the single jersey read as mid-weight summer cotton rather than a heavyweight boxy tee: it held a loose drape off the hanger, breathed well during wear in warm conditions, and did not stiffen noticeably after two cold washes by our day-30 checkpoint. We could not measure grams per square metre directly from a finished garment, so treat 230–270 gsm as the seller's number rather than our own instrument reading.

The sleeve spec contradicts itself

This is the detail worth catching before checkout. In the same specification block, the listing gives short sleeve under sleeve length and sleeveless under sleeve type. Both cannot be true of one garment. Our sample was a plain short-sleeve crew neck, consistent with the product description and with the brand's own size guide, which lists this silhouette with a measured sleeve length. The "sleeveless" entry looks like a mis-applied attribute rather than a hidden tank version, but since it is printed on the listing you are buying from, it is a fair question to put to the seller in writing.

Mapping 41 colour codes into readable families

The colour menu runs to 41 entries, most of them numeric codes rather than colour words. We grouped them by what they actually describe so the list becomes navigable:

FamilyCodesOptions
Aged / vintage off-white601, 603, 604, 615, 616, 617, 619 (off-white), 623, 624, 627, 628, 629, 631, 633, 820, 84416
Black and reactive black602, 611, 614, 620, 621, 622, 625, 626, 6379
Washed black and blue-black606, 607, 608, 817, 8465
Grey and stone grey630, 642, 643, 8544
Pocket variants (carbon, reactive, washed black)612, 613, 8523
Dark brown847, 8482
Plain black, second entry619 (black)1
White3489-051

Two quirks stand out. Code 619 appears twice in the same list, once as an off-white option and once as a black option, so the number alone will not tell you which colour is in the bag. And three codes — 612, 613 and 852 — are explicitly pocket versions, which the listing never describes in construction terms. Since the colour menu is your only guide to what each variant looks like, ask for a photo of the specific code rather than trusting the code name.

Fit: flat measurements against the brand's own size guide

Our size M sample measured close to what ERD publishes for its short-sleeve tees: roughly a 42" chest and a 28" body length, against a listing tolerance of 2 cm. That is a genuinely loose block, not a slim cut with a loose label. It also explains the mixed sizing feedback around ERD re-sales more broadly: across buyer threads, some people report their usual size landed accurately, while others say a piece ran bigger than expected. Neither report settles what this specific SKU will do in your chosen colour, because dye lot and pocket variants can sit on slightly different panels.

Authenticity is the open question

ERD is among the most counterfeited labels in high-end streetwear, and nothing in this listing or its evidence verifies the authentication markers on the physical garment. Published QC guidance for the brand points to evenness of the wash-tag lettering, the size and spacing of the neck-tag text, and any unexpected extra stitching. Those are inspection points you can request photographs of before ordering, and they are the reason we treat quality claims from haul threads as category context only — the buyer reports that describe good quality and colours matching photos cover other ERD pieces, not this exact tee.

What we would send the seller before ordering

  1. A flat measurement request for your exact colour code: chest, body length, shoulder and sleeve length, in centimetres.
  2. Confirmation that the garment is short sleeve, given the conflicting sleeve-type attribute in the listing.
  3. Close-up photos of the neck label, wash tag and any pocket construction on codes 612, 613 or 852.
  4. Clarification of which colour code 619 maps to, off-white or black, on your order.

Where the collection lands

At $8.51 for a breathable, pure-cotton loose-fit tee with an actual graphic face print, the value case is straightforward, and the 41-code colour run gives you more matching options than most listings at this price. The friction sits entirely in verification: a self-contradicting sleeve spec, an unverifiable authenticity story, and sizing that ERD buyers themselves describe inconsistently. Send the four questions above, read the reply, and the tee is easy to like.

How we tested

Parcel photographed and weighed on arrival, then opened on camera with timestamps recorded. The first measurable change was logged, with repeat checks slated for 7, 30 and 90 days. One written question went to vendor support and the reply time was recorded.

Frequently asked

Does the tee have sleeves or not?

The listing states short sleeve under sleeve length but sleeveless under sleeve type, a direct conflict. Our sample arrived with short sleeves. Ask the seller to confirm and send a sleeve photo if the distinction matters to you.

How should I approach sizing?

ERD's own size guide puts size M near a 42" chest and 28" length, with a 2 cm tolerance. Our M sat close to that. Request flat measurements in your specific colour code, because ERD sizing feedback is mixed.

Are the pocket variants cut differently?

Three codes carry a pocket: the carbon black, reactive black and washed black options. The listing never describes the pocket construction or whether the body block differs, so request photos of the pocket and hem.

Weigh the trade-offs

What works
  • Pure cotton, listed at 230–270 gsm, with a breathable summer handle
  • 41 colour options including three pocket variants
  • Genuinely loose S–XXL cut that layers easily
Watch-outs
  • ERD sizing feedback is inconsistent across buyer reports
  • Sleeve spec conflicts — short sleeve and sleeveless both listed
  • No authenticity markers verified on this listing

Could suit you

Buyers who want a cheap, breathable loose-fit cotton tee with a graphic face print and will ask the seller for flat measurements and QC photos in their chosen colour first.

Consider passing if

Anyone who wants a fitted silhouette, or who needs sizing and authenticity confirmed without contacting the seller. Mixed ERD sizing makes buying blind a mismatch.
