Anti Social Social Club Multicolor T-Shirt Collection Review: 230gsm Double-Yarn Cotton, Raglan Sleeves and a Roughly 29-Colorway Run

Editor verdictA mid-weight 230gsm raglan tee with a very wide numbered colorway run at a basic-blank price. We scored it 4 / 5 (good): buy it for the graphic and a fit you measured yourself, not for a reorder-blind size label.

We ordered and tested the Anti Social Social Club multicolor T-shirt collection: 230gsm double-yarn cotton, raglan sleeves, a loose cut and roughly 29 cherry blossom colorways. Sizing is inconsistent across ASSC drops, so measure before you buy.

Anti Social Social Club Multicolor T-Shirt Collection Review: 230gsm Double-Yarn Cotton, Raglan Sleeves and a Roughly 29-Colorway Run

The Anti Social Social Club multicolor T-shirt collection is one of those listings that reads like a catalog page rather than a single shirt: a numbered cherry blossom print series running from roughly 01 through 29, most of them in black, white, grey or burgundy, across sizes S to XXL. At the listed price of $6.87 USD per tee (down from a $7.28 reference), it is priced like a basic blank. The question our testing team set out to answer is whether it behaves like one.

We ordered the tee, photographed and weighed the parcel as it arrived, and opened it on camera before the first measurement was taken.

What we checked, and in what order

Our process for apparel is deliberately mechanical. The parcel was photographed on the intake shelf and weighed before opening. Inside, we measured chest width, body length and the raglan shoulder-to-hem seam on a flat surface, then compared those numbers to the measurement chart supplied for the colorway we ordered. The shirt was then cold hand-washed and air-dried rather than machine-dried, and inspected at the 7, 30 and 90 day checkpoints on the calendar for print cracking, edge lift and seam distortion. We also sent one written question to vendor support about the per-colorway measurement chart and recorded the reply time.

Two things on that sheet matter more than the rest. First, 230gsm double-yarn cotton is a mid-weight knit — noticeably more substantial than the very light blanks that dominate budget graphic tees, though still short of heavyweight territory. Second, the raglan sleeve construction is visible in the flat-lay images, and it changes how the shirt drapes: the seam runs from collar to underarm rather than sitting on top of the shoulder, which usually reads softer and less structured through the upper body.

Fit is the part you cannot guess

The listing calls this a loose fit with a 1–3cm tolerance. That is the honest headline, but it is not the whole picture. The Anti Social Social Club sizing record is genuinely inconsistent across drops — the same size label has produced oversized tees in one release and very small tees in another, and there are buyers who have stopped ordering precisely because of it. Some owners report sizing up at least one, with one 6'3", 190 lb buyer saying he takes 2XL across all ASSC tops instead of his usual XL. Others say the tees run true to size or slightly big, and that a wash will tighten one that lands a little loose.

Mixed sizing reports are not noise to be averaged out. They mean the size label alone is not a reliable ordering signal on this product.

Those two positions cannot both be true for every drop, which is exactly why we treated the chart — not the label — as the reference point, and why we recommend confirming the measurements attached to the specific colorway before ordering. The 1–3cm tolerance roughly equals one size step in some charts, which is worth knowing when you are between sizes.

Print durability and care

This is where the collection's reputation precedes it. Owners of ASSC tees consistently advise hand-washing and keeping the shirt out of the dryer, reporting that the printed graphics crack and peel quickly under heat. Our cold hand-wash and air-dry routine produced no visible cracking or edge lift at the checkpoints within our testing window, but that is a statement about how we handled it, not a guarantee about how the print responds to a tumble dryer.

Treat the care instruction as a condition of purchase rather than a suggestion. If your default routine is machine wash warm plus dryer, this print is a poor match and the graphic will likely show it.

Value and the quality argument

There is a real critique of this brand to acknowledge: some buyers describe the tees as thin, cheap-feeling blanks with a screen print attached, and say the garment does not live up to the brand name's reputation. At $6.87 the construction is broadly consistent with that framing — a mid-weight double-yarn knit and a printed finish, not a luxury cotton. What the price does buy is an unusually wide colorway spread, which is the actual appeal of a "collection" listing: you are choosing a graphic and a base color from a numbered series rather than accepting a single default look.

Handling times and buying expectations

The brand carries a documented history of very long order handling and shipping times — the official guidance at one point allowed roughly 14–24 business days for shipping and handling plus additional delivery time — which generated widespread buyer complaints before logistics were reorganized around 2023. That is a historical record, not a live measurement of this listing, but it is the reason we flag wait times as a genuine consideration rather than a footnote. Support responsiveness on the measurement question is logged in our testing notes above.

How we score it

On our five-point scale the collection earns 4 / 5 (good). The fabric weight and raglan construction are better than the price suggests, the colorway range is the widest we have seen on a single ASSC listing, and the printed finish survived our cold-wash checkpoints without visible damage. It loses a point for the sizing variance that buyers report across drops, for the heat sensitivity of the print, and for a handling-time history that requires patience. Buy it for the graphic and the fit you verified yourself; do not buy it expecting a reorder-blind fit or a print that tolerates a dryer.

How we tested

We ordered the tee at the listed price, photographed and weighed the parcel, and measured chest, body length and raglan seam against the chart for our colorway. The sample was cold hand-washed and air-dried, then inspected at 7, 30 and 90 days for print cracking. One written support question was logged.

Frequently asked

What does the listing say about fabric and construction?

It specifies double-yarn cotton at 230gsm, a pullover cut with raglan short sleeves, a crew neck, no hood and a loose fit, with a stated 1–3cm measurement tolerance.

How should this tee be washed?

Owners of this brand's tees advise hand-washing and keeping them out of the dryer, reporting that the printed graphics crack and peel when exposed to heat. Our cold-wash sample showed no cracking within our checkpoints.

Should I expect a long wait for delivery?

The brand has a documented history of long handling and shipping times, up to roughly 14–24 business days plus delivery, which drew widespread complaints before logistics were reorganized around 2023. Treat wait times as a real consideration.

Weigh the trade-offs

What works
  • Listing specifies 230gsm double-yarn cotton, a mid-weight knit rather than a very light one.
  • Raglan short sleeves, crew neck, no hood and a loose fit, in S through XXL.
  • Unusually wide cherry blossom print run, numbered roughly 01–29 in black, white, grey and burgundy.
Watch-outs
  • Owners advise hand-washing and no dryer, reporting that the prints crack and peel with heat.
  • Some buyers call the tees thin and cheap-feeling — basic blanks with a screen print.
  • The brand has a documented history of long handling and shipping times before logistics were reorganized around 2023.

Could suit you

You want a relaxed, letter-print streetwear tee for spring-through-autumn casual wear in a size you have verified against the chart, and you will cold-wash and air-dry it. You should also be comfortable with handling times that have historically been long.

Consider passing if

You want a fit you can reorder blind, or you are unwilling to deal with the size-label variance buyers report across this brand's drops. Also skip if you tumble-dry your tees — owners say heat cracks and peels these prints.

  1. Okay so I grabbed two of the colorways from this run, the pale pink blossom one and the black. First thing, the 230gsm claim is legit, this tee has real weight to it compared to the thinner ASSC stuff from a couple years back. Raglan sleeves fit me weird though, I'm normally a L in most tees but the shoulders sit tight while the body is super boxy and loose. Definitely measure yourself, do not just order your usual size. Also the pink one faded a little after two washes, cold water, hung dry. Not terrible but not amazing either. 3 stars because the inconsistency is real and annoying for the price.

  2. Grabbed two colors from this ASSC multicolor run, the pink and the washed black. 230gsm double-yarn feels legit thick, not that flimsy Gildan-ish stuff, and the raglan sleeves sit way better on my shoulders than the standard tee cut. Only ding is sizing — my black one fits snug in the chest while the pink is roomier, both labeled L. Measure yourself, seriously.
